St.Albans &
District Neighbourhood Watch is not police-run, it is run by volunteers
but we do work in partnership with Hertfordshire police and St.Albans
City & District Community Safety Partnership.
By joining,
you can do something that will really make a difference to your
local area. You don't need to dedicate lots of time. Neighbourhood
Watch is the largest community safety organisation in the U.K, with
around 10 million members.
St.Albans Neighbourhood Watch works by developing close liaison
between households in a neighbourhood and the local police. It aims
to help people protect themselves and their properties and to reduce
the fear of crime by means of improved home security, greater vigilance,
accurate reporting of suspicious incidents to the police and by
fostering a community spirit. Make that difference - Join
now.

We
are now organising the Annual Conference for St.Albans Neighourhood
Watch.
Last
year our first conference was a success beyond expectations.
It attracted an audience of over 150 people. The dedication and
enthusiasm of our team delivered a hard act to follow.
Our goal this year is to create an event that will be remembered
for successfully delivering a message that St.Albans Neighbourhood
Watch and Hertfordshire Police are committed to reducing crime and
disorder in our neighbourhood.
